Week 5: Starts/Sits/Streams
In which, I fucked up and got distracted and missed helping you with the Thursday and London (innit) games but gimme a break I'm STILL sick (it's been a month!) and I'm doing my best...
…but you still have time to check out my vidja on the DynastyPros YouTube channel just ignore the Trevor Lawrence part and also Gibbs and Barkley are out.
Starts
Wan'Dale Robinson
Robinson has been working his way back from injury and should have enough targets to increase the likelihood of a big play in a negative game script.
Tyler Boyd
With Tee Higgins nursing his Texas barbecue, Joebrr needs another target and Boyd has shown he's a capable WR3 with WR2-sub upside.
Matt Breida
I hate going with a second Giants player against Miami, especially when the Dolphins could, conceivably, jump out to a quick three-score (that's three SCORES, not the old-timey use of “score” meaning “20”, or the 80's use of “score” meaning “to ‘sex’ another person) lead and make Daniel Jones throw 50 passes. The thing is, you need a sub for Barkley (and so do the Giants) or Gibbs, or Ekeler, or JT (I tweeted about it) and Brieda had 19 touches against Seattle and finished in the RB2 area.
Sits
Jonathan Taylor
I know. Stop yelling at me. What IF he goes off? You're right. But, I just don't see it. Let's analyze and use good process. He's facing the Titans who are to RB1s as Garfield is to lasagna, and additionally, too, as well, JT hasn't seen game action for awhile, and b. the Colts ground success should come from Anthony Richardson. Just wait.
Miles Sanders and/or Chuba
The Detroit Lions give up fewer rushing yards per game than the Titans the Saints the Cowboys the Eagles anybody. Plus, Bryce Young will likely not find a convenient game script for a run-game reliance until, well, at this point it looks like ever.
Rhamondre Stevenson
Samesies. The Saints are stout and Mac Jones isn't good. Oh, and he's banged up.
Streams
DEF/ST
Atlanta
I could very easily get burned on this one, simply because Ceej keeps defenses on the field, Atlanta isn't great against the run, and the game should be a low-scoring crawler. One thing that ATL does do, howmstever, is allow the second most lowest pass yards against opponents who are passing. That's good.
TE
T. Higs
No. not THAT T. His. The Rams's one. Philly is so bad against TEs that I suggested Cade Otton the other week. And I suggested Logan Thomas last week. And even though those didn't work out, I'm sure it will this week. “Third time's a charm”, right?
RIGHT?
